Mochi Pizza

We don’t know many people who don’t love pizza in one form or another, do you? The great thing about our pizza is that you don’t have to feel guilty for indulging.

Everyone loves pizza, right? Okay, maybe not everyone – but most of us.

Pizza is a fun meal. It’s versatile. If you have a large family with different taste buds and preferences, you can let them build their own pizza.

People of all ages can enjoy it and the crust is a clean slate that can be built upon as you wish. Whether you prefer a two-topping pizza such as mushrooms and black olives or go all out with a loaded, everything-you-can-find-in-the-kitchen type pizza, you will love the healthy choice of mochi pizza “crust” as your base.

Mochi Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Harvest Moon Mochi Organic Plain & Tasty package
  • 1 jar of farm fresh tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 1 package veggie Mozzarella shreds
  • add your favorite toppings

Cooking instructions:

  1. Using a sharp knife and a cutting board, cut Harvest Moon Mochi into 4 equal squares (one cut in each direction).
  2. Add very little Organic olive oil to pan.
  3. Place Harvest Moon Mochi squares onto a half-size baking sheet.  Make sure to place the 4 mini-Mochi pizzas 2-3 inches apart on baking sheet.
  4. Add a spoonful of the pizza sauce of your choice to each mini-Mochi pizza.
  5. Next, add a large spoonful of veggie cheese to each mini-Mochi pizza.
  6. Then top with all of your favorate vegetables.  Be careful not to overload the mini-Mochi pizzas.
  7. Use an oven mit to take baking sheet out of the oven.  Let cool for 2-3 minutes.  Then use a flat spatula to transfer mini-Mochi pizzas to a plate.  Enjoy.
